Why do I spend money on and read basically crap?

The Fire of Spring is a rock-solid doormat romance and quite a difficult read. But I got totally involved in Dawn's struggle to get Logan out of his miserable existence. Don't know why though. Maybe down to the skill of a good author.

She wrote 4 of my all time favorites. Two historicals; Dangerous and Rendevous. Two contemporaries; Between the Lines and Price of Surender. All have Big Themes. I continue to love them. Plus she wrote Silhouette #1. Ensuring her place in history.

I'm currently using a Kindle keyboard. But I'm not happy. It doesn't support cover art and I really like book cover artwork. Also. Its very difficult to dip into my favorite places in any book because Kindle uses 'locations' instead of pages. And it isn't in color, so there's not much point buying graphic novels. However I have bought the great cover with reading light for my Kindle which gets a lot of use. Any recommendations for a color e-reader that bookmarks book pages. Please.
